Combine a Lagopus Blind with the Lagopus Chair (sold separately) in short or standard seating height for the ultimate chair blind! (Please note the chair and blind are sold separately; the blind does not stand on its own)
Attachment of the tent to the chair is very simple. The tent is placed over the roof of the chair without the need for any fasteners. With the door closed, stake the four corners leaving enough room for your feet and tripod, then unzip the door on the front side of the tent and sit down. On each side of the tent there are 6 tension cords that can be tightened to prevent the tent from flapping in the wind. This ensures that the tent is held together perfectly and has a solid shape.
Like other Tragopan blinds, the Lagopus main shooting window can be changed silently with a series of small clips. To prevent water from running down the windows, we have added a flap that covers the entire opening from the outside. This flap opens and closes via a cord system that is operated silently from inside the tent. Both sides of the tent also have opportunistic shooting windows, equipped with flap that can be closed and opened from the inside by means of a cord system. These windows have a semi-transparent net with a slit in the middle that allows a telephoto lens to pass through. This net can be completely unzipped.
The Lagopus is made of waterproof 150D "oxford" polyester, combining lightness and sturdiness. The interior of the blind tent is covered with an isotherm coating which lowers the temperature several degrees when the tent is exposed to the sun, and retains heat in winter. The coating also makes the tent lightproof, offering complete darkness inside and avoids silhouetting through the fabric.
The Lagopus comes in its own carrying bag and includes stakes.
